Monstera ‘Filiformis’ – Lamina-Suppressed Mutation
The Monstera Thai Constellation ‘Filiformis’ is an exceptionally rare and stable growth mutation characterized by a fully developed filiform, lamina-suppressed leaf structure. Unlike standard Thai Constellation plants, this form consistently produces elongated, ribbon-like foliage that does not expand into a traditional leaf blade.
Crucially, the mother plant exhibits the exact same growth pattern, confirming this mutation as genetically stablerather than a spontaneous or stress-related anomaly. Every growth point expresses the same narrow, elongated morphology, making this a true, repeatable form.
The plant maintains a compact growth habit with short internodes, producing upright, thread-like leaves with healthy coloration and vigor. This mutation has been observed only once despite extensive cultivation experience, and no additional specimens are known to exist.
Due to the stability and uniqueness of this form, only one cutting is available. Tissue culture propagation is not recommended, as the process often removes or normalizes rare morphological mutations.
This specimen is intended for advanced collectors and enthusiasts seeking genuine botanical rarity — not mass-produced variegation, but a structurally distinct and genetically stable Monstera form.
