Philodendron Splendid

The hybrid plant known as the philodendron magnificent was created by crossing verrucosum with melanochrysum. It produces large, imposing, velvety leaves with veins (the velvet leaf texture is from the melanochrysum with the big bold veins of the verrucosum). It absolutely dazzles! Due to their rarity, they are frequently marketed as little plants or node cuttings, therefore their relatively quick growth is a plus.
