The most unique feature of this plant is its leaves, which emerge as drops and eventually take on the appearance of dancing flames. Additionally, its leaves sometimes resemble cardboard since they are so rigid. Its leaves resemble a rib cage because of the spaces between their sheaths.

The distinctive Monstera ‘Burle Marx Flame’ is so named because of Roberto Burle Marx and the shape of its leaves. The original specimen belonged to this plant enthusiast and landscape architect. We still do not know with any confidence where this beauty originated.
