With good reason, Calathea Silver Plate is one of the most often grown foliage plants. They are more than glad to show off their broad, rounded leaves during the day and to fold them up at night. On its upper side, the Calathea ‘Silver Plate’ plant displays uniformly lustrous, greenish-grey leaves. The appealing center of the leaf is enclosed by a somewhat wavy leaf edge that is mostly dark green. The primary leaf vein, which is a pale pink to red color, should stand out from the remainder of the leaf. You won’t be let down by the Calathea “Silver Plate” either in the evening. It proudly displays the undersides to you even though it later withholds the top’s shine from you.
