The Monstera Thai Constellation is one of two rare breeds of variegated Monstera´s, the other one being the Monstera Albo. Both plants are variegated versions of the Monstera and offer white to yellow-ish speckled leaves. This variegation comes from a mutation in the genes of the plants, but the origin of this mutation differs between the two Monsteras. The mutation of the Albo occurs naturally, whereas the mutation in the Thai Constellation was created artificially. There are several other differences between the Monstera Thai Constellation and the Monstera Albo. For example, the variegated leafs on the Albo are generally whiter and there is more variegation, opposed to the more yellow-ish speckles on the Thai Constellation. Which plant you should buy really is up to your preferences.
